The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has organized the Seventh Annual Employment Fair, through which 42 ICT companies provided about 10000 job opportunities over six months.
The Forum is within the framework of ITIDA role in the areas of training and employment to support the development of human skills of Egyptian university graduates and provide them with the necessary skills to join the labor market in the ICT sector.
ITIDA invited all graduates of the eighth stage of EduEgypt program, and the graduates of "Training for Employment" ICT sector initiative, based on identifying the competencies and skills required by the companies.
Major international and local companies participated in the Forum, among which are five international companies specialized in the field of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and call centers, as well as five Egyptian companies specialized in the same field. Moreover, other four international companies specialized in the field of Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) took part in the activities of the forum. This is in addition to six Egyptian companies working in the same field, as well as seven small and medium enterprises and 13 companies specializing in the areas of training, evaluation of graduate qualifications and employment participated in the Forum.
The "Training for Employment" project has benefited from the expertise of 26 training providers offering specialized training programs for young graduates in the areas of data entry, e-commerce, tele-sales, administrative skills, computer and mobile maintenance, database management and development and infrastructure networks and maintenance.
Other fields include information security, mobile applications, websites, embedded systems, software testing, cloud computing, e-marketing, human resources, project management and technical and specialized training in the areas of information technology.
